He made his literary debut as a Poet by receiving the New Writer Award from Cheongok Literature. He serves as the President of the Cheonseong Literary Writers Association and the Vice President of the Sasang Culture and Arts Association. He participated as an exchange student in the International Tea Culture Education program at Zhejiang Shuren University. He holds a Master's degree from the Wonkwang University Department of Tea Ceremony and Arts. He is the recipient of the Korea Culture and Arts Literature Grand Prize and the Proud Korean Humanities Grand Prize. He received commendations from the Chairman of the Korean Writers Association and the Korea Literary Newspaper. He is the founder of Donghae Metal Co., Ltd. and Donghwa Industries Co., Ltd. His publications include the book Nadeulmok on the Road of Life
