He serves as the Cheongju Chapter Chairman for the Korea Land, Infrastructure and Transport International Art Exhibition. He holds the title of Master Craftsman of Mother-of-Pearl Inlay and Wood Lacquer Craft for the New Fine Arts of the Republic of Korea. He serves as an Advisor for the Supporters Association of Kim Maeng-gil, the National Master Craftsman of Wood and Lacquer Craft of the Republic of Korea. He is an Invited Artist for the New Fine Arts Exhibition of the Republic of Korea. He is a Registered Cultural Heritage Repair Technician with the Cultural Heritage Administration (Registration No. 2400). He is the Representative Director of the Seongjin Traditional Craft Research Institute.
