He formerly operated the 'Dongsan Sashimi Restaurant' in Cheongsapo and was the Manager (Siljang) of 'Geumbineul' (Gold Scales) in Yeosu. His restaurant was selected as a Proud Freshly Caught Fish (Seon-eo) Sashimi Restaurant. He received the Excellence Award at the Yeosu Taste Contest.
