He is active as a Poet, Essayist, and Film Director. He made his literary debut in 1995 with Good Morning, I Love You in Seoul Literature. He has published nature-friendly essays, including Forest Love, In the Forest, and Forest Travel. He also published the books The Path of Life is Love! Blooming with Beauty and The Path of Life! Filling the Soul. He holds a Master's degree from the Korea University Graduate School of Policy Studies. He serves as a Standing Director for the Korea University Alumni Association. He was the General Director for the anti-drug film Flying City (Bisang Dosi)
