She graduated from Kyungsung University and its Graduate School, and the Kyushu Sangyo University Graduate School with a degree in Textile Design (Japan). She has held 11 solo exhibitions and participated in over 400 invitational and group exhibitions. She has served as an Adjunct and Visiting Professor at major universities and has served as a Judge for various art competitions. She is active as a performance artist at various festivals, including the Yeongdo Hydrangea Festival and the Gokseong Rose Festival. She is an Invited Artist for the Korean Fine Arts Association (KFAA), the Korea Traditional Craft Association, and the Busan Textile Formative Arts Association and the Busan Fine Arts Association. She is designated a Textile Craft Master by the Federation of Korean Arts and Culture Organizations (KFAA) and is the Representative Director of the Cheon Gyeong-ja Gallery.
