He graduated from Chung-Ang University and its Graduate School (Theater and Film Department). He completed studies at the Harbin Heilongjiang University College of Fine Arts (China). He received the Artist of the Year Award at the 13th Korea Creative Culture and Arts Exhibition. He received the Artist of the Year Special Award at the Artist of the Year 100 Invitational Exhibition. He won the Excellence Award at the 48th LA Korean Day Art Festival. He received the Grand Prize (Highest Honor) at the Hanpyeong Butterfly Exhibition. Currently, he serves as the Senior Vice President of the Gangnam Fine Arts Association, the Senior Vice President of the World Fine Arts Writers Exchange Association, and an Invited Artist for the Korean Fine Arts Association (KFAA).
