He began his career in precious metals craftsmanship in 1977. He started his precious metals crafting business in 1985. In 1992, he completed courses in GG1 Diamond Appraisal and Gem Identification. Since 2017, he has performed precious metals appraisal and identification duties for the Busan and Gyeongnam Prosecutors' Offices. He was honored with the Precious Metals Master Craftsman (Geummyeongjang) Award in 2023.
