He participated in the Korea-China Exchange Exhibition in Yangzhou, China (2001) and the 100 Korean Nude Photographers Exhibition at Photo Eye Gallery in Seoul (2001). He was an Invited Exhibitor for the Washington Photography Association in the U.S. (2005). He participated in the Grand Prize Korea Photography Exhibition Invitational Exhibition from 2016 to 2021. He received the Minister of Culture Award at the Civil Servants Photography Exhibition in 1984 and the Highest Excellence Work Award at the Jeonnam Division Joint Exhibition in 1986. He was honored with the Service Award from the Federation of Korean Arts and Culture Organizations (YeChong) in 2004.
