He is the recipient of the Artist of the Year Award and has held 29 solo exhibitions. He has served as an Operation Committee Member and Judge for the Grand Prize Art Exhibition of the Republic of Korea. He is the Organizing Committee Chairman for the Korea Contemporary Korean Painting International Festival. He has participated in over 1,900 domestic and international exhibitions, including the Beijing Art Fair (China), Shanghai Art Fair (China), Singapore Art Fair, and the São Paulo Biennial. He serves as the President of the Korean Contemporary Art Association and an Adjunct Professor at Yewon Arts University.
