He has held 25 solo exhibitions. He is the recipient of the UNESCO Art Merit Award and the Korea-US Cultural Exchange Merit Award (US Secretary of State Award). He served as the Korean Executive Committee Chairman for the Korea-US Exchange Exhibition. He has been a Judge for the Grand Prize Art Exhibition of the Republic of Korea and various other art competitions. He has participated in over 400 group exhibitions domestically, including the Korea-Japan Exchange Exhibition.
