Jang Bok-su Certification No.: 24-0102-16 Field: Korean Painting He graduated from the Department of Painting at Chosun University College of Fine Arts and the Graduate School of Pure Arts at Chosun University. He received the Grand Prize (Highest Honor) at the Gwangju Fine Arts Exhibition in 1994 and the Uijae Heo Baek-ryeon Art Award (Young Artist Award) in 2002. He received the Gwangju Culture and Arts Service Award in 2010. Two of his works are in the collection of the Gwangju Museum of Art. Currently, he is a member of the Korean Fine Arts Association (KFAA), the Seocho Fine Arts Association, the Gusangjeon (Representational Art Exhibition), the Dongbang Art Research Association, and serves as the President of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter of the Korea Creative Art Association.
