She is a certified Successor of the Buddhist Painting Master (Bulhwajang), a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, and an Expert Committee Member for the Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee. She was selected as an Ulju Culture and Arts Person by Ulsan Metropolitan City. She was selected in the Buddhist Painting Master category for Figures Who Shine Korea. She appeared on the KBS 1TV program Culture Empathy, in the segment on Buddhist Art Masters. She has served as a Judge and Invited Artist for various national art competitions. She is the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Chapter Head for the Sungsan Traditional Buddhist Painting Association, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage Association. She is the Director of the Hyedam Traditional Buddhist Art Cultural Center (with branches in Ulsan, Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan).
